Adventures with Spokhette #20 : Over the Rhine

Hi Gang!

I had the awesome opportunity to go outside and explore over the Rhine with my Cousin, Brianna, who runs The Wandering Rose.  I've been wanting to explore over the rhine and downtown more and more, because everytime I go down there, there is always something new. This was a great opportunity to bring out my camera and work on portraiture so it was a great day all around.

Originally the plan was to go check out the Coffee Emporium *I don't drink Coffee* and then go check out an exhibit at the Arts Contemporary Center, however, by the time we got downtown and parked, it was closed. So instead, after exploring the Emporium we just kind of wandered around.

A lot of the places we wanted to go and see were closed, so we really only got to explore the inside of Iris Book Cafe, and the 16 Bit Bar and Arcade, which was amazing! We both got a Blue Rasberry Slush Puppy with Blueberry Vodka, and it was delicous, probably my favorite alcoholic beverage. Not that I've had enough to decide on favorites. It was probably the first time I'd had an alcoholic beverage in a year. I drink very sporadically. delicous, probably my favorite alcoholic beverage. Not that I've had enough to decide on favorites.   On our journey through the city, we came across many murals, alleys and doorways that we couldn't resist taking pictures in front of. I was actually very concious of all the people laughing or staring as they walked around us, which made me super nervous, but of course my social butterfly Bri, had no qualms, so her pictures look much better than mine. I even came across the Mini Cinema, of course it was closed but I wanted to be inside so badly. I love film so much! course my social butterfly Bri, had no qualms, so her pictures look much better than mine.
